This is truly a great example of this platform that these professional sporting players can have and the not only mental but also financial influence that they can have. Not only did Marcus Rashford use his platform to raise awareness he also used it to push his campaign and raise millions of pounds. Having scored 64 goals all up for his Boyhood club, scoring on his debut in the Premier league and the Champions league, in the race for the 2019/2020 golden boot and representing his country in the World Cup and European Championship. However large his accomplishments may be on the football field none of these can compare to the impact that he has on his country and the millions of hungry children in the past couple of months.
